Dial A Nurse Pty Ltd supports Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) card holders through the DVA Community Nursing Program.

Eligibility by card type

Card TypeWhat's Covered
Gold CardDVA funds community nursing services that meet your assessed personal care and/or clinical needs — with no set funding limit.
White CardDVA funds nursing services related to your accepted disability or condition (war or service-caused injury or disease).

How to access care

Get a referral

From your GP, specialist, hospital discharge planner, or directly through DVA.

Contact Dial A Nurse

Call 0410 128 847 and we'll confirm details and answer your questions.

Care assessment

One of our nurses assesses your needs to build a tailored care plan.

Ongoing support

Regular visits, with reassessment as your needs change over time.

  • Your GP
  • A specialist or hospital discharge planner
  • The Department of Veterans' Affairs
  • You or a family member (via your GP)

Cost to you

For eligible Gold and White Card holders, DVA-funded community nursing services are provided at no out-of-pocket cost when delivered by an approved provider.
